Previously on "Eric's Melodramatic Crap"

Hello. How are you? I do hope you are well. Oh yes, and Steven sends his regards. Well, since there really is no easy way to go about explaining all this, I'll start from the beginning.
This... event... draws its beginnings from one afternoon last spring. That day the cold weather had just broke, and there was a wonderful breeze so I had decided to spend my afternoon on the front porch with the paper soaking in the new born warmth.
As I read the newspaper, I felt this chill sneak into the base of my spine. At first I ignored it. Yet, it started to grow along my spine along my lower back as I continued thumbing through the paper.
Then, I saw it. I realized what was bothering me. The newspaper contained no words. I stared at it in wonder. There were letters, but the words had completely dismembered themselves into a vortex of grotesquely amazing shapes and forms. Every page the same, but different. Every symbol seemed to have its own unique pattern. I sat staring for hours.
By the time that I looked up, night had come, and I was late for work. Working as night-shift supervisor at an steel mill can be a very tedious job when everything is woring right, and when it isn't, you'll soon be wishing to have that tediousness back. Now, usually I would fill up these uneventful nights with a book, but given my experience earlier I decided that it would probably be a good idea if I avoided reading for a while. Then I found five dollars.

Eric, seriously,...write a book. Your freakishly amazing talent scares me. You could pay your way through college with a best seller. Enjoyable post, friend,...and I hope Florida is treating you nicely.
